The digital print process makes it possible to print individual details onto each card at very reasonable cost. Examples of individual details that can be printed onto the cards include customers or members names, reference numbers, company name and expiry dates.
Maximum durability…
Our full colour cards are plastic throughout. To ensure that every card is built to withstand the rigours of everyday life, we use the same processes that are used to produce credit cards. The inner plastic core of full colour cards is printed and then laminated with clear plastic to ensure maximum durability.
A proof plastic card can be provided for no extra cost…
A proof plastic card can be printed before full production if requested, so you can check and approve the content and quality. This will ensure you are completely happy before proceeding with the whole order. Proof cards are only provided with full colour plastic cards (digitally printed) and do not apply to other print processes. A deposit is required before proof cards are produced.
Card Sizes…
Credit card size (86 × 54mm with round corners) is our most popular size as it is suitable for most applications.
We can also supply oversized cards including 100 × 70mm or 120 × 80mm, both of which have rounded corners. They are often used for information cards where there is too much text to fit on standard sized cards or for event ID cards when they can be attached to lanyards or clips and worn by the bearer.
Card Thicknesses…
Although credit card thickness (760 micron) is by far the most popular we also offer 420 micron.
A choice of Gloss or Matt Finish…
With all our full colour cards you have the choice of gloss or matt finish, however, if your card has a black background we recommend a matt finish which is more scratch resistant and also creates an impressive contemporary feel, ensuring that your cards retain their appearance for longer.
As with all of our plastic card products, we offer a wide range of optional extra features:
Signature panels
A white matt area can be added to your card for members or customers to write on. You may have more than one signature strip if necessary.
Holo effect foil
We can print your cards using a special metallic foil which appears similar to the holograms often seen on the rear of credit cards and can add stunning effects to your cards.
Magnetic stripes
For use with swipe readers; we can encode a number onto the stripe which is then allocated to a particular customer or member of yours.
Barcodes
We can print barcodes in various formats. Barcodes are only recommended on a white background due to the risk of background colours affecting scanning capability.
Embossing
Personalisation of cards with raised names, numbers etc as on credit cards. Embossing is only available on 760 micron thickness cards. Embossed characters may be coloured in black, silver or gold.

Two Colour Simulated Hologram
We can show simple images using silver or gold on a holofoil background to create a simulated hologram. This is a great way of adding prestige or a security feature to your plastic card.
Photoseals
We can attach clear self – adhesive flaps to your cards. This enables you to stick a paper ID photo to your cards. Alternatively this will protect any written information on the card from wearing off. (e.g. important medical information relating to the card holder). Simply tear off the backing and press the film onto your card. (this is not intended as a security feature and can be removed )
Hole & Slot Cards
We can punch holes (approx. 5mm diameter) or slots (14 × 3mm) in your cardsTo enable you to attach accessories such as lanyards or luggage straps. You could also use as identification tags using cable ties or similar fixings.
One large radius corner
To give your card a funky look, why not go for a large radius to one of the corners
Metallic foil overprinting
Enhance the appearance of your full colour cards by highlighting some text or graphics in a metallic foil finish.

Personalisation
We can print individual names, expiry dates, numbers on your cards in a colour, style and size to suit you. We can work from your Excel files.
Metallic Background
For added prestige we can print your full colour cards on a gold, silver or bronze background.

We can print individual numbers on your cards in a colour, style and size to suit you.
They can be sequential or custom numbers from your data files provided.
There is no restriction on the number of digits.
